The Walnut Hill Community Garden is an active community garden located within the Washington Park neighborhood. This lot has been uniting green-thumbed neighbors for over five years. With the Love Your Block grant, the garden was able to receive raised garden beds, a new fence, and extensive landscaping.

Project Break Down:

• May 11, 2019: Litter clean-up, brush clear out, and surveying the site for project day two

• June 20, 2019: Raised garden bed and fence installation day and planting day

• July 25, 2019: Painting day
